A peppery blend of spices ideal for
creating the perfect traditional haggis.
Method
- Mince 278g pluck tops (sheep heart, liver
& lungs with windpipe removed) through a 10mm plate.
- Mince 166g beef suet through a 10mm
plate.
- Blend both with 130g oatmeal, 22g
kibbled onions and 25g haggis seasoning.
- Add 278g stock or water and mix
thoroughly.
- Fill into ox bungs or artificial
casings and tie ends.
Cooking suggestions
- Place in a pot and cover with cold water.
- Bring to boil then simmer for 50-60 mins.
- Steam cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Microwave on full powder for 4
minutes.
