A traditional Indian curry dish made easy with fresh mutton meat, authentic spices & big flavours.
Mutton Masala Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 500g mutton meat, cut into bitesize pieces
- 2 large onions
- 50g mutton masala
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 250ml stock
- 200ml plain yoghurt
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the onions, cook until soft and caramelised, add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the meat and brown on each side, add the masala powder and mix well, cook for around 2 minutes or until fragrant.
- Add the tomatoes, stock and cook for 5 minutes, the tomatoes should be soft, add in the yoghurt along with a splash of water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for around an hour, adding more water along the way if necessary.
- The stock should have reduced to a thick stock and the meat should be tender, serve piping hot.
