A mild combination of spices such as marjoram & turmeric perfect for achieving an authentic Caribbean curry taste.
This seasoning can also be used in meat rubs, soups & other dishes!
Caribbean Curry Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 500g meat (chicken, prawns & lamb work great for this!) cut into bitesized pieces
- 400ml coconut milk
- 30g Caribbean curry powder
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 onion, finely sliced
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan an fry the onion until soft, add the curry powder and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the meat & fry until browned, stirring regularly to avoid sticking.
- Add the coconut milk and simmer for 20 minutes, add the mango and cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Ensure the curry is piping hot before serving.
