A classic mixed spice with an oriental twist.
A blend of fennel, cinnamon, star aniseed, black pepper, cloves with added nutmeg, Sichuan pepper and ginger.
- Used primarily in Chinese cuisine but also in other Asian and Arabic cookery.
- Add to chicken beef or stir fry vegetables towards the end of cooking.
- Delicious coating for pork belly or ribs before cooking.
- Add to cocktails and drinks to add a hint of warm spice.
- Add to biscuits, cookies and cakes to enhance flavour and add a warm twist.
