Oak is most commonly used of smoking woods and is very similar to Beech wood chips. Both go with just about any fish or meat.
Using chips will last longer than shavings because they are bigger, resulting in a longer lasting true bbq taste.
Method
- Place the required amount of chips in a container and cover with water, Beer or Wine to ensure maximum coverage.
- Soak for 30 mins or for best results a couple of hours.
- Pour off liquid.
- Add the wood chips to your B.B.Q.
- No Fuss, no mess just great flavour!
